Diane is an award winning violinist, educator, inspirer and creative artist. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has toured the world with a number of prestigious ensembles and has been a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra since 1997.  She is the director and founder of Libra Strings, a progressive classical ensemble. In other genres she has performed alongside and recorded with many household names such Sir Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart and Bono.  

A pioneer in the field of holistic music education, Diane is Head of Strings at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, is Ireland's most highly qualified  Dalcroze Eurhythmics practitioner and is the first European string player to be certified in teaching BodyMapping for Musicians. She was awarded a PhD in 2019 for her Arts Practice research into improving connection and communication for classical musicians.
